I’m a retired Ontario elementary school teacher and teacher-librarian with a lifelong passion for connecting with people and celebrating meaningful moments. I hold two degrees from the University of Alberta and spent my career creating welcoming, thoughtful environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
Now based in Port Stanley, I live with my husband, who I’ve been happily married to since 1991 after we met in Yellowknife. That shared history and love for life’s milestones is what draws me to wedding ceremonies today.
I’m known for being detail-oriented, organized, and genuinely friendly. I take the time to get to know each couple so your ceremony feels seamless, personal, and true to who you are. It’s a privilege to be part of such an important day, and I approach every ceremony with care, warmth, and intention.
I offer personalized ceremonies to suit every couple and every kind of love story. Whether you’re planning a traditional celebration, a non-religious ceremony, an intimate elopement, or a simple signing, I will work with you to create something meaningful and memorable. I also officiate vow renewals and proudly celebrate same-gender marriages. If you’d like to include special ceremonial elements such as a unity candle, sand ceremony, or hand-fasting, those can be thoughtfully woven into your ceremony to reflect what matters most to you.
